Hello there! Welcome to my blog! This picture was taken last December 12, 2005 inside my mommy’s womb when I was 30 weeks and 1 day old. Isn’t that cool!
Mommy and Daddy were really excited when they saw me through the 4D ultrasound. Oh, they saw my balls too! Haha! By the way this is my mom’s second pelvic ultrasound. The last one was a month ago but it was just a 2D ultrsound. There’s one thing that worries my parents so much after that ultrasound. The OB /sonologist said that the size of my cisterna magna (a canal in the brain) was 1.04 cm. The normal size should have been less than 1cm. They were advised to be back for a repeat ultrasound after a month to re-assess the cisterna magna and other parts of my brain too. She said hopefully it won’t get bigger. There’s nothing they can do or my parents can do for now but wait.
After a month of waiting, praying and trusting the Lord, God has shown us all that He’s a good God and He answers prayers! This second ultrasound, the doctor got a measurement of 0.9cm, 1.0cm and 1.1cm which they averaged to 1cm. That’s great because aside from the fact that it did not get bigger, the other parts of my brain and body are all ok. The OB said although the size of my cisterna magna is still 1cm, its an isolated case because the other parts are normal anyway. But she will still recommend a repeat ultrasound after 2 weeks to check again.
December 28, we’re back! And guess what?! Its a miracle! My cisterna magna is now 0.7cm and that’s really really great! It is so amazing how God has healed me. His Word is true! I heard mommy said before, “By His stripes I am healed” and she claimed His word is true to me in Jesus’ name. Nothing is really impossible with Him. I’m so glad we have a powerful God who can do all things and He is not just a mighty God but He cares and loves us so much and wants the best for us! Remember always that there’s hope in Jesus Christ our Lord!
I’m excited to see the world! But for now I have to enjoy my stay here inside my mommy’s womb for some more weeks till I finally see the world and experience more of God’s goodness.
May He be glorified in my life… and in yours too!
